The East Ocean Restaurant was established in the heart of Sydney Chinatown in 1988. For more than 20 years, East Ocean Restaurant has won a number of prestigious awards including the 2004 One Chef Hat Award, the 2004 Metropolitan Award of Excellence and the 2005 Certificate of Appreciation by The Dr. Victor Chang “Crystal” Ball. East Ocean Restaurant also supported the Cancer Council and won an award for the Biggest Morning Tea in 2004. In 2003, we were proud to introduce our luxurious restaurant that can hold over 400 guests and provide superior customer service for our valued patrons.

East Open Restaurant offers modern Chinese, Canton cuisine and we specialise in live seafood that is prepared fresh on demand.
